A WORLD OF WATERCOLOR
Hello Creatives!
In this class, we will look at ways to think outside the box and use watercolor along with other mediums and tools. Loosen up and create lovely works of art inspired by a variety of subjects.
Flowers always give me pause and I love to use them in my drawings and paintings. They bring joy and color to each piece! Over the centuries, artists have captured the rich symbolism of flowers and adding nature to your painting often gives deeper meaning to your art.
My hope is that you enjoy exploring new techniques with me while we relish in the creativity found in painting OUTSIDE the lines!

Here's a description of each of our special lessons:
Lesson 1 - COLOR WARM UP
In this lesson, you will explore a 4-5 color palette of your own choosing. Mixing your own palette and create a fun and expressive portrait while layering color and creating depth in the process.
A great way to warm up any time!
Lesson 2 - Beginnings
This lesson is all about color, background texture and oil overlay. Creating a lovely painting with tape, water-soluble oil and splatters. We build a story with each layer of paint, full of depth and richness!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Lesson 3 - WOVEN TOGETHER
In this lesson, we will learn to use graphite pencil and gesso along with our watercolors. Concentrating on shapes and shadows within a subject. Adding vibrant color and marks to create a lovely ethereal piece of art.
You will love creating this way!
lesson 4 - FLOWER GIRL
In this lesson, we will explore wet on wet techniques. Layering color and value as we create a soft and feminine painting. Applying overlays and building texture to various parts of the painting.
This approach is so joyous with plenty of room for expression and play!
FLORAL BONUS LESSON
